Biography
Hannah Hunter Dowie is the daughter of Jessie Bowie Hunter and William Dowie, farm worker.
She married Peter Birtles in 1907 having 4 children in her marriage between 1909 and 1916.
Hannah died age 43 and is buried at Oamaru Old cemetery.
