Nathaniel was born on September 24th, 1894 at 89 Emerson Street in Belfast, Ireland. He was the son of John Curry (A Coal Carter) and Eliza Millar. His Birth was registered by Ellen Miller (Millar?) of 193 Tennant Street who was present at the time.[1]
Nathaniel can be found (Age 6) residing in a house 126 in Crimea Street (Shankhill, Antrim) during the 1901 Census of Ireland with his Parents and younger Brother Edward.[2][3]
Nathaniel was age 17, residing in a house 31 in Aberdeen Street (Wood Vale Ward, Antrim) during the 1911 Census of Ireland with his Father, Step Mother, and he now has 3 full siblings, and a half Brother. [4][5]
Nathaniel was a Gunner with Royal Field Artillery 27th Div. Ammunition Col. Service# 78667[6]
Nathaniel passed away on August 28th, 1918 (Recorded as age 24) at the Clifton Street Military Hospital (late of 6, Aberdeen Street) in Belfast, Ireland. He was recorded as a Bachelor, and a Soldier. The official cause was Lobar Pneumonia (6 days). It was registered by C.E Williams of Clifton Street Military Hospital who was present at the time.[7] He is interred in Carnmoney Main Cemetery, (Plot# F 22) in Newtownabbey with his Mom and 3 Sisters. [8][9]
