Biography

Boyce was the son of George Washington Clinton and Hassie Simpson.

Pvt. Boyce T Clinton was killed in action in Germany on December 3, 1944. Boyce was in Company B, 116th Infantry, and on December 3, 1944, the company was attacking enemy forces in the vicinity of Koslar, Germany. Heavy enemy resistance was encountered in the form of small arms, automatic and rifle grenade fire. A smoke screen was laid down by American artillery so that the company could withdraw. After reorganization, Boyce could not be located and it was later discovered that he was killed in battle.
