- BARBARA BELL CHISHOLM was born on 12 October 1817, in Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of GEORGE CHISHOLM and ELIZABETH "Eliza" McCARTER.
- In 1838, presumably in Ontario, Canada, she married TIMOTHY COOPER born 6 September 1806, at Niagara-On-Lake, Niagara Township, Lincoln County, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of ELIZABETH HIXON (1773-1855) and JAMES COOPER (1770-1856). He died on 29 September 1866, in Ontario, Canada.
