Biography
Catherine Brown was born on 9 May 1849 in Watten and was baptised in the parish kirk on 13 June 1849.
Catherine was living in Watten with her parents and siblings in 1851. She was still living there with her father and siblings in 1861. She had no trade at this time but was likely attending school.
