Herbert William Plantagenet BROTHERTON was born in 1862 in St Kilda, Colony of Victoria^[1]. His parents were William BROTHERTON and Mary PICKERING.

Jessie ADIE and Herbert William Plantagenet BROTHERTON were married on 25 June 1885 in Ararat, Colony of Victoria^[2].

BROTHERTON-McADIE.-On the 25th June, at the residence of the bride's parents, Ararat, by the Rev. James Megaw, Herbert William Plantagenet, third surviving son of the late Wm. Plantagenet Brotherton, to Jessie, only daughter of Robert McAdie, of Wick, Scotland.

He passed away on 10 July 1933 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia^[6] and was buried at the St. Kilda Cemetery^[7].
