Biography

Lawrence Reed Belt was born on 22 Mar 1902 to Noah Belt and Ada Swansey in Crittenden, Kentucky.

Lawrence married Katherine Sliger on 26 Apr 1922 at Elizabethtown, Hardin, Illinois. They had twelve children together. Eleven survived. They raised their children in Providence, Webster, Kentucky.

Lawrence died on 6 May 1962 at the age of 60 years, in Hopkins, Kentucky.
