Biography

When Margaret Ann Katherine Beatty was born on April 24, 1872, in Darke County, Ohio, her father, Jacob Beatty, was 34 and her mother, Margaret Smith, was 33.

She married Gordon Walker in 1895.^[1] They had two sons, Burton, and Dean, in 29 years. They also had one foster son, Walker Walker; and one adopted son, Paul.

She died on April 20, 1940, in Bartholomew County, Indiana, at the age of 67, and was buried at the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Walesboro, Bartholomew County, Indiana.^[2]
