John Quincy Bean is the son of Benjamin Bean and Nancy (Queen) Bean.
John married Martha W. Hickman, daughter of Arthur Hickman (24 May 1803-14 Aug 1884) and Elizabeth Rebecca Walker (24 Aug 1806-24 Nov 1879).
Children of John and Martha are:
- Artensa Bean, born September 27, 1857, died September 4, 1936, married: Rezin Levi Queen (13 Mar 1870-4 Oct 1933).
- Florence B. Bean, born about 1861, died after June 3, 1880
- Angeline Bean, born February 6, 1855, died 1875, married James Pritchard Queen, (3 Oct 1849-4 Jan 1926), on 26 Feb 1871, in Upshur Co., WV. [1]
