Biography

Catherine was born in 1870. She was the daughter of John Bayne and Sarah Brown. ^[1]

In 1901 the Bayne family were living in Gortnagross, John 69, farmer, born Co Armagh, his wife Sarah 70, and two children Catherine 30, and John 38, together with his wife Sarah 33, and a grandson William Bayne 3. All except John were born Co Tyrone. ^[2]

She passed away 18 February 1909 age 38 at Gortnagross, and was buried at Cookstown Cemetery with her mother. Informed by John Bayne, brother. The chief mourners were: ^{[3] [4] [5]}
