Biography

Birth and Parents

Clyde Austin was born in New York.

Clyde, the third son and fifth of six children of Albert Mead Austin and Adaline Stewart was born on 3 May 1867 at Hamburg, New York.

Marriages and Children

Clyde was married twice. He married 1) Dora Madelon Tooley (1879-1918), the daughter of Obediah Anathias Tooley (1836-1922) and Rebecca Jane Massey (1841-1895) on 16 August 1894 at Mullen, Idaho. They had eight children.

Clyde married 2) Mary Ellen (Tooley) Roe on 15 July 1922 at Thompson Falls, Montana.^[1]They had one daughter.

Death and Burial

Clyde Elisha Austin died on 28 December 1937 in his 70th year at Plains, Montana.^[2] He is buried in the Whitepine Cemetery at White Pine, Sanders, Montana.^[3]
