Susannah was born in 1793. The daughter of Andrew Andes and Barbara Baer She was a native of the state of Virginia, born in the counties of Shenandoah and Rockingham, respectively, and Susanna and her husband became residents of Salem township in 1841, purchasing a farm of 160 acres of land, upon which the remaining years of their lives were spent.
