TILMAN ADCOCK, son of Isaac Adcock [6] and Mary Ann Davis, was born 1856/1857 in Jackson County, Tennessee. At the age of 24, he was living and working on the farm of his brother-in-law, Elisha Netherton, in Jackson County, according to the census of 1880. He was married on December 29, 1882, at Cummings Mill, Jackson County, Tennessee to Harriett Lettie Stutts. The ceremony was performed by William Cumings (sic). Minister of the Gospel. (11) Harriet was born in 1859, in Jackson County, Tennessee, according to the marriage license. Shortly after their marriage, the couple moved to Arkansas, according to the family tradition.
