how you fit in this family - I am thu Isaac Adcock, Mary Ann Davis & Isaac
had a daughter named Sarah & she is my Great grandmother, my grandfather her
son Lewis Odom ( Sarah was married twice) first husband a Robertson left her
& they had 2 sons down in Ark & told her he was going back to Tx to his
family & for her & the boys to go home the best way they could , going home
she sold alot of her household things & she moved back in her father house &
ask the court if she could put her maiden name on the boys - I have a copy
of her divorce record if you would like - I also have a picture of her, I
will email if you want,
she really had a hard time in her life, my Grandfather loved her very much ,
he always talked like she was something very special - I guess she was - her
husband the second one (William Odom ) died one day & she died the next ,
her children loved her very much, again thanks for just being there,

SARAH C. ADCOCK, daughter of Isaac Adcock [6] and Mary Ann Davis, was born in Tennessee in the year 1851, according to the 1860 Federal Census of her father’s household. She was married in Jackson County, Tennessee on November 14, 1876, to William H. “Buck” Odam. (7) William was born in Tennessee in the year 1842. The family were enumerated in the 1880 Federal Census living in the 6th District of Jackson county, where William farmed. His wife Sarah was afflicted with “Prolapsms” at the time of the census which is the falling or slipping out of place of an internal organ. Annie Adcock, aged 65, who was Sarah’s aunt, lived with the family according to the census of 1880. (8)
