James White Adams was born on 4 Nov 1792 in Martock, Somerset, England.

He married Mary Ann Elizabeth Patten on 14 April 1824 at St. Andrew's Church in Holborn, Middlesex, England. ^[1]

Together they became the parents of Rev. Canon Edward Patten Adams, Robert Patten Adams, Joseph Dixon Adams, Mary Ann Elizabeth Adams, Isabella Louisa Adams, Henry White Adams.

He passed away on 30 July 1883 and was buried at All Saints Churchyard in Martock, , Somerset, England. ^[2]
