My father James McEwan (1899-1954) travelled to Canada with his father James McEwan (1853-1918) in 1907. They later came to New Zealand. I am trying to trace their movements over 1907-1918.

Originally West coast of Scotland, probably to Argyll, traced as far back as Stirlingshire and Perthshire confirmed. They we're Weaver's and Cattle farmer's and Drover's. Due to large families over several generations we're numbers are in double figures. They are difficult to trace as destinations are numerous both here and abroad.
