There are close to 800 Five-Star Profiles under the Magna Carta Project’s purview. We’d appreciate your help to expand these profiles to make them even more informative, appealing and accessible to the public while also putting WikiTree’s best face forward on Google. Using the project’s checklist as a guide, we will be focusing on the following profiles this month:
Maj. Lawrence Smith Sr. (1629-c1700) of Virginia: This is a Gateway Ancestor that hasn't had a trail developed to a surety baron. Are you up for that task? If so, sign up and become his Gateway Guardian! If not, his profile itself needs some work: add inline citations to Richardson works; source clean-up (from gedcom import); add links to wife/children; check dates, sources and links.
Sir Thomas de Mowbray (1366-1399): needs post-merge clean-up and sources checked, inline citations, and profile re-review per MCP’s checklist above. This profile was in a trail that was reviewed in 2014 and the Magna Carta Project section needs updating.
Caryl volunteered to work on Matilda (Bruce) de Isaac (1303-1353): needs Richardson citations, profile re-review per Magna Carta Project’s checklist above and a Magna Carta project section added.
DONE! Thanks to Terri Swift: Richard Randolph (1621-1678): US PRESIDENTS project is co-PM (ancestor of Thomas Jefferson). This profile needs a lot of work: source check, inline citations added and profile re-review per MCP’s checklist above, addition of a Magna Carta project section ... etc.
DONE! Alice (FitzAlan) Holland (1350-1416): Add Magna Carta project section, profile re-review, general clean-up.
