Edward was married to Elizabeth Lauthers (Parentage?) 1750-1825 PA. They lived in various counties, possibly starting out in Cumberland Co and ending up in Red Bank Twp. Armstrong Co (Clarion Co) PA. They had seven (7) children (James, William, Elizabeth, John, Jane, Nancy,  Azariah) reach adulthood 1768-1787. Edward was in the Cumberland Co Militia during the Revolutionary War.

Do you know the city or county in PA where Edward Kelly was born and also location of where he died? One of his children, William, was born in Maryland and the other in PA. Would you know the state, county and city where he married?
Hello & thank you Frank Gill, William was born in Mifflin Co PA. The other children were also born in Cumberland Co, Mifflin Co, Centre Co or Franklin Co. Edward Kelley and Elizabeth Lauthers were married in Cumberland Co PA, apparently.

Ken, I looked at this since I have a number of ancestors from this part of PA. Found a somewhat odd references which purports to be from AGBI which is infamous for a reason but it may provide some leads. It has his name supposedly spelled as Edward Kelliah in this source (I am not certain to what it refers):

Ten "Series" of "Pennsylvnia Archives" have been so far published in from 5 to 31v. Ea. Philadelphia and Harrisburg. 1852- ( We have indexed Series 2, v.2 and v.8 ( early Pa. marriage recds.) And all the v. of SeriesV. Which contain nearly complete Pa. Rev. War recds.)Ser.5:6:60, 131, 441

I'm assuming the last bit is the actual reference.

Hello & thank you T Stanton, I/we believe "Kelliah"  was a phonetic spelling as taken down by a military clerk, erroneously instead of Kelley/Kelly.
If you can find what is being cited, it might provide additional information. Some RW records included parents and place of origin. Have you checked him at fold3.com?
