Looking for information about Isabel Hughes, from Northern Ireland DOB abt 1886

Question

Isabel resided in Portland, Oregon, in 1930.  She married Wiliam Whitfield , DOB 1882, according to a 1930 census.  They had two children, Frances Hughes Whitfield, and William Whitfield.

On the 1930 census, Isabel lists Northern Ireland as her place of birth.

Found William Whitfield Immigration record,we hit a gold mine.Arrived Oct 21 1906 ,Came on ,I will get ships name etc. for you.

1930 census says arrived 1906.He arrived by himself ,so cross Karl off.Arrived

Port of Philadelphia.Says he has brown hair and blue eyes.Says born and this

is hard to read,Balladine England.I will check towns in England spelled like that.

Says he has a sister Nellie hard to read looks like Nellie Morgan.Living at 120

North West 23rd Street.New York. WOWEE!!!

Or look on Family Search .Org         William Whitfield in 1910 census they are in

Manhatten,Ward 12,New York New York. have a Karl F.Whitfield born 1887

might be William Brother.Karl born 1887.

In 1910 census says born New York, In 1930 census born England.looks

like married abt 1916.Will look some,for Marriage and find his birth records

Thank you, ever so much.  Can you tell me where in Ireland she was born?  It says on her 1930 census.."Northern Ireland" only.

You might need to recheck the census details as the 1920 census shows Isabel as having been born in Oregon.

It seems that the Isabel Hughes was born in Oregon approx 1886. She is in the 1920 Census in the home of her widowed mother Kathleen Frances Hughes.

All of them indicate that they and both parents were born in the Irish Free State.
