Parents of Maria Catharina Venter, born 27 May 1868 in South Africa?

Hi

I'm trying to find out who the parents (or siblings) were of Maria Catharina Venter (Venter-1578).

If http://web.archive.org/web/20060517030325/http://www.venter.net/genealogy1.htm is correct, she was the child of Pieter Jacobus Venter and Dorothea Maria van Heerden.

However I've been told that the genealogy cited above contains errors, so I cannot use it on its own with any confidence.

Hi Albert

In my research I have a Maria Catharina Venter * 1868, married to Paulus Jacobus (Koot) Kruger. Is this the same person?

A very useful tool if you need information is the research completed by Barry Kruger, Title of his book is "Die Kruger-Familie van Suider-Afrika".
