33 million profiles are connected to the Big Tree

Question

As of today, there are more than 33 million profiles connected to the Big Tree. In percentages there are nearly 86,6% profiles connected. On the other hand, there are more than 5 million profiles unconnected. So while on one hand the percentage increases every day, the total number of unconnected also increases every day unless really big branches are connected.

Although this might sound like a little rant (it actually isn't, it is only a presentation of the current situation), I want to give a shoutout to all the connectors who not only try to connect branches every single day, but achieve that.

Thank you for the reminder to work on unconnected profiles more often.  When I am doing random Wikitreeing, apart from my tree branch of relations, I try to find and connect profiles to them, but rarely think to bring up an unconnected list to work on.  Thanks to your post I connected a group of 8, that needed just one profile to fill the gap. Will try to make this a weekly goal.

Jelena, rant away! Everyone, that has so much as connected one person, should be so very proud of themselves. Back in the day of transcribing [handwritten ledgers], I do not believe we ever imagined this possible. I sincerely hope my mentor (yep, Grampa Boyer!) can see how far this has come. He spent his life, and a better portion of mine, researching his heart out.
