Is there a Wikitree+ search query that would allow us to identify married females who have the same LNAB as their Current Last Name?

Some of these will be correct as the wife's maiden name was the same as her husband's name, but most could usefully be updated with the correct Current Last Name.

Hello Steve,

I have used this before :-

BirthRegion=Cheshire Gender=female sql="(([Default].[Last Name at Birth].AsString =

[Default].[Current Last Name]) AND ([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 0)

AND ([Default].[Birth Date].AsNumber > 18000000))"

i will wait patiently for the changes that you require me to make smiley

Allan

Thanks Alan - much appreciated
BirthRegion=Cheshire Gender=female sql="(([Default].[Last Name at Birth].AsString =

[Default].[Current Last Name]) AND ([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 0)

AND ([Default].[Birth Date].AsNumber = 18170000))"

:- provides 18 profiles

BirthRegion=Cheshire Gender=female sql="(([Default].[Last Name at Birth].AsString =

[Spouses].[Current Last Name]) AND ([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 0)

AND ([Default].[Birth Date].AsNumber = 18170000))"

:- provides 5 profiles

BirthRegion=Cheshire Gender=female sql="(([Default].[Last Name at Birth].AsString =

[Default].[Current Last Name]) AND ([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 0)

AND ([Default].[Birth Date].AsNumber = 18170000)

AND ([Default].[Last Name at Birth].AsString <> [Spouses].[Current Last Name]))"

:- provides 13 profiles

i guess each one is interesting to look at
Thanks again - I have a lot of work to do on the profiles I've created!
Allan, this is brilliant. I didn't know that this syntax allowed me to compare the values of two fields. I mean, I should have, but for some reason I just assumed it was a limitation. This is 90% of the way to the query I've been wanting for a while now (and hoarding the question of for the last 3 weeks).

Hello Aleš,

Is it possible to use the report produced for 'Category: Cheshire, Unsourced Profiles' on

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Cheshire%2C_Unsourced_Profiles

with the Map navigator to show the profiles listed in the report on a map of Cheshire?.

The reason for this request is to produce something very similar to the map produced by the Ancestor Explorer app by Chase Ashley.

This image shows my ancestors superimposed over a map of Cheshire, England :-

https://www.wikitree.com/photo.php/d/d3/The_Splendid_Spruces_Team_Images-2.jpg

I would like to produce a similar map populated with :-

1)  Unsourced profiles for Cheshire (not directly related to myself), as is produced in the report mentioned above.

and separately :-

2)  Unconnected profiles for Cheshire

being able to see on a map where people in (1) & (2) above were either born, married, or died in the same locations as my own ancestors would be of benefit in finding either sources or connections.

thanks, Allan

Can you run a wikitree+ search and go to the map from there? Region=Cheshire  unsourced

Should be close to what unsourced report (and optionally include open)
Hello W,

That is good, is there a 'Theme' where i do not have the migration lines and the name only appears if i click on it.
Good question. I am not good at using the map.

I have a question on the Find A Grave template.  Often when I am adding the Find A Grave source, I know it will cause an error message, since the Find A Grave data is wrong.

Should I be using the sameas=no tag?

Is there another tag that shows that the grave belongs to this profile, but the data on Find A Grave is wrong?

Thanks!

Hi - is it possible to do a search for the |fate=victim parameter within the Holocaust Sticker? Seems like not, but just checking. Right now {{Holocaust Sticker}} returns 7226 results, but that includes survivors and victims. (and all of those results have no additional text, neither |fate=survivor nor |fate=victim)

Wow, thank you Azure!

For the Link Builders Challenge, looking for profiles that have the notables sticker but is not in Wikidata (which I take to mean there isn't an entry on the persons Wikidata page for WikiTree person id) do I have the text search correct?

The word "is" should not be used.
TemplateFull=Notables_Sticker not IsInWikiData

Similar to Steven's question, I'm interested in finding profiles that I created or adopted and then forgot to update the CLN (or in the case of multiple marriages, I forgot to set the OLNs).

(I know this only applies to the U.S. and that there's potential for false positives for women who did not take their married name. I'm fine with checking for those edge cases.)

For example, if she married Joe Smith, Tom Brown, and Jim Jones, I'd expect OLNs as Smith, Brown and CLN as Jones.

This might be too complex for a single query. Let me know if not possible.

Hello Jeff,

maybe something like this, where there has been more than one marriage but the OLN field is blank :

Created=Creator_Ikeler-28 Gender=female sql="(

([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 1)

AND

([Default].[Current Last Name].AsString <> [Spouses].[Last Name at Birth])

AND

([Default].[Last Name Other].AsString = '')

)"

Line ([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 1) Should be

([Marriage].[Marriage Location].LineCount > 0)

Your example looks for profiles with 2 marriages.

Just wondering, if there is an easy way for searching for find a grave sources and family search tree sources.

Thanks :)

When I do a search for Error 608: Misspelled country in birth location using England as the text word I get 97 profiles that have the green locked privacy level. I like to keep track of the profiles that I leave a comment on for the PM to fix. I have been able to get some profiles open that were green locked by keep track of them and going back a filing a UPM. I am using a FSP to keep track right now. Is there a way to export the list as a spreadsheet?

by Kathy Nava G2G6 Pilot (317k points)
Which FSP?
I created my own FSP's.

Another one for ya! This one from the WikiTree Challenge:

To see profiles created by a specific user for the current challenge, I've tried the following queries with no results.

  1. Created=Creator_Robinson-27225 CC7=Seaver-15
  2. Created=Creator_Robinson-27225 profilelist="WikiTreeChallenge\ActiveChallenge"
  3. Created=Creator_Robinson-27225 profilelist="WikiTreeChallenge\20240502"
I've tested each parameter by itself and each does return results
  1. CC7=Seaver-15 1133 profiles - done by public tree
  2. profilelist="WikiTreeChallenge\20240502" 1481 - all profiles
  3. profilelist="WikiTreeChallenge\ActiveChallenge" 1481 - all profiles
  4. Created=Creator_Robinson-27225 10651 profiles
by Azure Robinson G2G6 Pilot (569k points)

#3 Created=Creator_Robinson-27225 profilelist="WikiTreeChallenge\20240502"

Does return one result now, but it was for a profile created prior to the challenge week. The profile created during the challenge week aren't showing.

I frequently encounter questions in G2G where the questioner has not looked to find that the PM has been inactive for a decade, perhaps more. Where there has been no account activity (which I assume can be checked by last log-in date) for such an extended period of time, could those profiles simply be orphaned or where more than one PM can the inactive PM be removed?

Edit: I'm asking if this can be automated without someone having to use the Unresponsive Profile Manager process.
