I researched multiple different entries for my Group that I am scared to death to do.

Tellier

Tellier dit Lafortune

Tellier_dit-La_Fortune

Lafortune.

The most accurate is from Danielle Liard

What is going to be the best way to go about adding more people, That I have records for my group that is closely related to Danielles???

You can post a public comment on a related profile that she manages so she’ll see the note! (Or a comment on her own profile) Also I’m adding a couple tags to your question, perhaps that will help.

Here is the Quebecois Project's guidelines on *dit* names and what to use for LNAB on Wikitree:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois#Guidelines_on_Names

In short, for each individual profile it comes down to their baptism record and how the father's surname was recorded. If the father was recorded fully as "Joseph (X) dit (Y)", then (X) should be the LNAB for that specific child. If it just says "Joseph (Y)", then use (Y).

You can read the Quebecois project guidelines on names here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois#Guidelines_on_Names

Basically, when you create a profile the “last name at birth” is based on the spelling in the father's surname in their baptism record (without any dit name).
