Hi I have added family members and they have no DNA match to their fathers or grandfathers. Why would this be? Thank you.

Alice, you have added your DNA to your profile. Your DNA info now shows on your ancestors as appropriate. It will not tell you that someone is the father of another person - that is done in research and sources. Your DNA shows how you might be related to each person in your line.

I should have been a bit clearer on that.

When I have added family members it sometimes tells me that I maybe a 12% match, on others there is no percentage showing at all.

Is there a lag on information showing up?

Thanks for your answer.
You show as 100% on yourself; 50% on each of your parents; 25% on each of your grandparents; 12.5% on each of your great-grandparents, etc. That is the percentage of DNA you would have inherited from each of your ancestors. For cousins, 2nd cousins, etc. the appropriate percentage will be posted on those profiles.
I forgot to add - there is a delay for the DNA to show up.
Yes - give it at least 24 hours.
Thank you I will have a look later tomorrow.
Thanks.
Thank you so much Susan for the answer star!!
