[Although this record names Luther and Blanche Myers as Geneva's parents, her actual parents were as shown in the data section above. The Find A Grave memorial for Blanche (Memorial 6897088) shows her first husband to have been Luther L. Lochbaum (1888 - 1934), and after his death she married Luther Myers. One of Blanche's children by her first husband was Ruthanna Elizabeth (Lochbaum) Dean, Geneva's mother. Blanche and Luther Myers therefore would have been Geneva's grandmother and step-grandfather respectively.

As noted in the marriage record above, Geneva had married Calvin W. Mummert (not profiled) in 1946. Biographical data for Calvin indicates that he was in the Army for 12 years and served in World War II and Korea, so that may explain his absence in the census, and why Geneva was living with a relative.]
