This is Dianne FArquharson here. I got your email. I am interested in the ancestors of Powell Riggins who went west after he got out of jail,for killing William wood my ex great grandfather. I know he went west and changed his name. If you can straighten out from there please do. Let me know if I can help with anything

Oh my. You certainly have a special interest in this part of your family tree. I found William Wood in your tree - husband of Nancy Riggins. Her parents were Powell Riggins and Sarah unknown. Unfortunately we can't go much further than that on either line.
You should have my email address - email my privately if you want to talk about the DNA aspect; it's a particular interest of mine. Finding ancestors is very hard beyond 2-ggrandparents (they're all intermarried), but it's worth investigating.
