Thomas was born in Tynemouth, Northumberland on 1 August 1724 and was baptised there on 25 August of the same year. He was the son of John Potter and Mary Sharp.[1]
He passed away in 1773, predeceasing his mother Mary.[3] In his Will he left bequests to his brother Emanuel, sister Anne and children John, Thomas, Anne and Mary.
