Biography

Bengt Hubert Anderson was born on 3 Nov 1901, at Brönäs in Dalby, Värmland, Sweden, the son of Per Andersson and Kristina Persdotter. On July 7, 1920, he left Dalby for Minnesota where his dad had received word of farmland from his brother James in the recently opened Clearwater County. His father homesteaded a farm in Dudley Township, Clearwater County, and across the border into Buzzle Township, Beltrami County. He never married,

Bengt died on 3 Oct 1997 in Clearbrook, Clearwater, Minnesota, United States aged 95.

A lumberjack and teller of tall tales about his adventures with Blue Bear, who turned blue from eating too many blueberries.
