Biography

Ralph was born on August 27, 1913, in Dudley Township. His aunt Kaja Opsahl was midwife at his birth. He grew up at his parents' farm in Dudley Township and Buzzle Township. He married Sophia Louise Boorman in her parents' yard on June 26, 1940. They lived at his father's farm, building a garage where he became a mechanic. He later opened garages in Bagley, Clearbrook, and Fosston (Not in Leonard, that garage was run by Harry Blix and later Gene Caskey). They moved to the Brookfield apartments in Clearbrook. Ralph passed away in 1996 and was buried at East Zion Cemetery.

A farmer and a mechanic. Baptist, Lived in Leonard, Clearbook, Fosston and Lengby, MN.
