Biography
Matilda Susan Parkerson was born on Aug. 6, 1837 to Carter Parkerson and Sophia Mount. She was baptized on Aug. 27, 1837 in Broome, Norfolk, England.[1]
She married Christopher Nickels on Oct. 2, 1862 at the Parish Chapel in St Pancras, Camden, England.[2]
Christopher took Matilda to Jaunpore, India where he was an indigo-planter. There they became the parents of Matilda S Nickels, Thomas Nickels, Emma Alicia Nickels, Catherine Nickels and Christopher Nickels.
