Biography
Marcus William Parkerson was born on 5 March 1835 in Broome, Norfolk, England to Carter John Parkerson and Sophia (Mount) Parkerson. [1]
He was educated at Northgate, Beccles, Suffolk, along with his brothers.[2]
He married Emma Knowles.
Together they became the parents of John Carter Knowles Parkerson, Emma Sophia Matilda Clark, Alice Marie Jane (Parkerson) Isaacson, Gertrude Annie Pearson,
Marcus died on 15 March 1904 and was buried at Cedar Bluff Cemetery in Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois. [3]
