RESEARCH NOTES This info from the Find A Grave is correct per her descendants:

"Not much is known of Nancy Jane Parker's ancestry. There was a family legend that her maiden name was Parker and that she married a man named Parker. On her death certificate it states that her father's name was William Sweeten. She is said to have come to Arkansas from North Carolina. One of her son's death certificates states that his father's name was Louis Parker, but no trace can be found of Louis on census and we don't know where he was buried . She was the mother of 5 sons and 2 daughters. She was said to have been three quarters Choctaw Indian." I have been told the youngest son did not put correct information on the death record.
