Louis was born about 1840. He passed away in 1882.

information from several family descendants:
"Louis lived in Conway County, Arkansas. He was a keeper of bees & had flowers everywhere. One day Nancy Jane took the kids & went visiting. Someone hid in the flowers & shot Louis. He tried to make it to the house to get his gun but died on the front porch. Their son Adam was 3 months old. (Info from James Alvin Parker as told to him by his father, Adam)"
"Story goes that Louis would disappear for 2 or 3 months at a time. Nancy had flowerbeds everywhere & he'd hide his moonshine etc. there. Nancy got ready to go to town & he wanted to stay home so she left. They found him dead reaching for his gun leaned up by the front door."
It is thought that perhaps he was buried in the back of the house around his flowers.
