Biography

Jesse was born in 1873. He was the son of Elijah McWhorter (1843–1933) and Susan Parrott (1841–1926). He passed away in 1960.

He married Minnie Belle Hoskins on 13 June 1894, in McKee, Jackson, Kentucky. Their children were Charles Oscar McWhorter (1895–1972), Edgar Craig McWhorter (1896–1966), Etta Mae McWhorter (1898–1901), Oakley McWhorter (1902–1986), Delmer McWhorter (1905–1983), Della McWhorter (1907–1941), Luther McWhorter (1909–1999), Bertha McWhorter (1911–2005), Jesse F. McWhorter (1913–1995), Mattie McWhorter (1916–1980) and Leo Elijha McWhorter (1919–2002).

Jesse passed away on 03 May, 1960 in Jackson County, Kentucky followed with burial at the Holcomb-Union Cemetery in Maulden, Jackson County, Kentucky.
