Her husband passed away in 1910 [10] and she appeared as a widow head of household in the 1921 census. Two of her sons and three grandchildren were living with her at that time. The grandchildren were all born in the United States and immigrated to Canada in 1915.
[2]
Lilla passed away in 1922 and was buried with her husband at Gaspereau Cemetery.

Research Notes
The 1901 and 1911 census records both indicate that she was born in NS, not the USA. However, the 1921 census indicated she was born in the USA and the 1891 census indicated Michigan. Her name was Laura in the 1891 census and Lilla in all the later ones.
Her gravestone shows here middle initial as R, which would coincide with Roxana. However, the transcription on the Find a Grave site says B. Sourced proof for "Roxana" would need to be found in order to request a correction on the site.
The birth record of her son Edward shows her name as Roxana Young Anderson. Young was her mother's maiden name.
