Biography
David was born in 1902. [1] He was the son of Hugh Boyd and Elizabeth Sanders.
In 1930, David married at Manhattan to Helen Gray Boyer of Arkanas. [2]
David Boyd enlisted in the US Navy, Rank Gunners Mate. In 1940, David and Helen are living at the Virginia Naval base. David served in WWII and was later promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
He passed away in 1979 aged 77. [3]
David Boyd is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.
