Biography
John was the secondborn child of Robert Boyd and Margaret Thomson, born in Kilmarnock Parish on 26 November 1717 and baptised there on 1 December.[1]
He most likely passed away within the next year – certainly before 23 August 1719 as his younger brother, John, was baptised that day.
