Simeon Edward Beers was born 26 April 1852 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, United States, died 22 Dec 1885 at Los Angeles, California, USA, son of Simeon Beers and Ann McEwen; married 1 Jan 1874 to Annette Mary “Nettie” Pote,[1] born in 27 Feb 1848 at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA, died 1 Nov 1888 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA, daughter of Robert Pagan Pote (1817–1905) and Ellen N. (Jones) Pote (1822–1891) buried at Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA.[2]
