Dr. Lila Eliza Beers was born 3 Nov 1867 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, United States, died there 24 March 1950,^[1] daughter of Samuel Beers and Emily Gray; unmarried; buried at Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA.^[2]

B.A. Vassar College, 1894; M.D. Hahneaann Medical College, Chicago, 1897; postgraduate work at University of Chicago; Dr. Beers entered the practice of general medicine at Chicago in 1897, and in 1936 her home and office were at 3923 North Keeler Avenue, Chicago.
