William Henry Beers was born 12 April 1823 at New York City, New York County, New York, United States,[1] died 21 Mar 1880 in New York USA (uncertain), son of Cyrenius Beers and Margaret Van Antwerp; married 5 Mach 1846 to Ethelinda Ely Elliot, born at Goshen, Orange Count, New York, USA 13 Jan. 1827, died 11 Oct. 1879, daughter of Horace William Elliot (1788-1863) and Charlotte (Westcott) Elliott (1804-1880); buried at Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, Orange County, New York, USA.[2]
