Nathan Beers was born 5 March 1780 at Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States,^[1] died 5 May 1854 at Lanesborough, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA, son of Samuel Beers and Rebecca (Baxter) Beers (abt 1752-1784); married Sarah Perry (parentage unresolved)^{[2] [3] [4]}

• Nathan D. Beers (1803–1864) ("possibly" a son of Nathan b. 1780, according to Regan), but also possibly a cousin, per a letter by Sarah Ann Beers^[5] he married Cynthia Crofoot of Wilton, Fairfield Co., CT.
• Rebecca B. Beers (1807–1890) unmarried.
• Samuel Beers 1809–(1828, age 19)
• Sturges Perry Beers (1810–1880) married Lucy Powers (1816-1868)
