Anyone related to American Actress Mary Tyler Moore? Profile began.

Question

Unable to locate a page for American actress and producer Mary Tyler Moore I have begun creating her profile. Is anyone related to her and would like to contribute? I've also added the Notables category to her page. Mary Tyler Moore passed away on January 25, 2017.

Three of my four grandparents are descended from Moores.  I'd be very interested to see if any of our ancestors match up.

Who knew there were so many Capt. John Moores?  I appear to be descended from a different one; Mary's served in the War of 1812.

Well - I am STILL working on her connection, but no luck so far. Not that there's no hope, but there TOO many leads and I haven't had time to pursue them all. Her primary line of Moore is currently taken up as far as I think the research is available, so no direct line connection in Moore, but there are other primary lines that might be investigated. I've begun branching out into the Moore Uncle/Aunt areas - adding spouses, checking their lines, and there are several that show some promise. No connection yet, but with the number of family names involved, I'm sure there will be a connection at some point.

OK - I think I have a connection now through her ex-husband and father of her child. Way up the Meeker line, one of them married a Clinton, and we had a Clinton in that line that was connected. Still not sure if it will be the most efficient connection and I'm certain that there are other possible connections, but it's a start.
