Adopted Niece Alice Harriet (Talcott) Simoncelli (1896 - 1979) how to format?

Hi Wikitreers,

We have a profile of an adopted child who is Alice Harriet (Talcott) Simoncelli (1896 - 1979). She was adopted by her mothers sister.

I need collaboration in how to format this special situation.

1.) Do we use the LNAB as Rumohr or Talcott?

2.) Which set of parents do we connect to the biological or adopted. She is family by definition as she was the niece

3.) Who was the sibling she had when her mother died? It seems her father died when she was age 19. Did he give up the children to the family as adoptees?

4.) I have the adopted template in place but can this be improved upon?

Any collaboration in the historic Talcottville and Talcott women of this era is appreciated

Thank you

It looks like the sibling at the time of her mother's death was a brother Charles George Rumohr (1899-1982).

He was apparently placed with an aunt on the other side.

Also, it looks like her father remarried and had two additional children, Francis Allen Rumohr and Florence Mabel Rumohr.

Hi Roger,

I’m working more on the research and this collaboration is very helpful…I photographed her mothers stone she is buried with her mother and father

Here is Charles George Rumohr Memorial on FindAGrave buried so far away from the Talcott and Sparks side of the family and his sister…

I’m surprised they split the kids up…that’s sad but maybe they were aware and visited

I really would like to find how Emma Sparks Rumohr died…I’m thinking it was consumption? As she was in Colorado?
