New member introducing myself

Hi,

I've been exploring my ancestry for a few years now, sometimes more intensely than others. I recently confirmed through DNA that my grandfather 'William Lucerne" is not my biological grandfather.  It also revealed that my maternal side (Toomey) has Australian indigenous roots - rumoured to be through Mary Kelly (Great Grandmother) even though both parents appear to be Irish (current roadblocks in my research). I've loaded my DNA in hopes of identifying these.

Hi

I have just added Maria Toomey (my grandfather's mother).  It is not a very common surname, so maybe our trees connect?

I am only new to all this, so I am not sure how to link trees.

There have been rumours of indigenous Australian blood in our family but moreso on my Mum's mother's side (Parker).
