Help us find and improve next week's Connection Finder profiles: The Alamo [closed]

Davy Crockett was born on August 17th, so we're featuring him in the Connection Finder next week, along with others who were involved in the battle at the Alamo.

Here's who we're getting started on:

Can you help with these profiles, or expand their families? Adding relatives in any direction helps with connections. Every missing relative you add will make our connections to them closer.

Who else should we feature? We can't feature everyone who is nominated (we only have room for eleven per week), but if we don't feature a profile you work on, we may use it sometime in the future. And, of course, all contributions help improve our shared tree.

We'll make a final decision on which ones to feature early next week.

Please reply here with what you're working on so that we don't duplicate our efforts. Thank you!

Help us plan other themes to feature for the rest of 2022 here.

There were a number of Europeans that fought at the Alamo, but a lot of them don't seem to be linked to the general tree.

William Blazeby - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blazeby-1 - from England is linked, but might be able to be before next week.  His parents are identified in his profile.

Henry Courtman - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Courtman-5 - from Germany would be great, but there seems to be less to work with.

Alamo fighter Jim Bowie has a full and connected profile.

Col. James C. Neill, commander of the Almo was away from the fort the day of the Alamo attack, but he does have a connected profile.

Susanna Dickinson and her infant daughter, Angelina, were two of the only survivors of the Almo attack. She has a profile but it is not connected.

I hope the list will not be all male. One woman who survived the Alamo is Juana Gertrudes (Navarro) Alsbury. Her profile is connected and has a good biography, but no image.

Another possibility (edit: already I now see mentioned by David) is Susanna (Wilkerson) Dickinson, not connected at present.

Secondary sources here and here.

Previously referenced Alamo survivors, Susanna (Wilkerson) Dickinson, and her daughter, Angelina Dickinson, are now connected.   Images of each have also been added to their respective profiles.

Juan Nepomuceno Seguin, courier for the Texian army. The town of Seguin near San Antonio is named for him. Connected.
