How to handle closed profiles with inactive PMs?

I've recently come across several closed profiles where the indicated birth date is 1869 or earlier. These were created more than 4 years ago with no sources and very limited information, and the PMs indicated haven't been active on WT for 2 or more years. (The URL included is an example.) Is there any way to get these profiles opened so that others can add information or sources—other than sending a Private Message to the (inactive) manager, waiting a month, then reporting the Manager as "nonresponsive"? I've posted a comment to the profile(s) in question, but I don't really expect an answer. Any workaround solutions? I know that I won't remember to go report this in a month!

I think I just might have found a solution to the problem. Under the "Family Tree & Tools" on the problem profile, there's a link at the bottom in the "Contents" section called "Open Profile Request Form." If you have a pubic profile managed by a member who has had no activity for at least 2 years, you can use that form to report the particular profile you would like opened, and include a note to request that other profiles managed by said member that can be opened, be opened.

Would that work?

It works if the person was born 150 or more years ago, or died 100 or more years ago.

Down there on that page is also the Unresponsive Manager link.  It might not hurt to start that process (there are multiple steps).

And you don't have to wait a month - a week is enough - before submitting the unresponsive profile manager request.

This particular profile has been taken care of by "The Great WikiTree Team in the Sky"! Sources added and profile cleaned up!
