The pound and kester families

I found this book on google books. It has a very detailed list of these two families and their descendants. There are quite a few names in there. This book helped me a lot! And I hope it helps more, I'm sure it will with the amount of names and dates it has in it!

Ooooo, I have quite a few Kesters. I will have to check it out. Thanks!
This book is available for purchase on Amazon - that’s where I got my copy. Paperback, about $30.

Back in 1982 I was given a photocopy of this book, it was really hard to read most pages, worn, and marked up.  My mother said she got it from a "cousin" in San Luis Obispo County, California.  A few years later, I was going through a used book store, and came across a very worn hard cover copy of this book.  My Kester family line is included in it, from the east coast to the west coast.  Mr. Hunt, who wrote the book sure put a lot of his life into it, it was first published in 1904, I can just picture all the files he would of had to have had (long before the computer days!).  Great book!  Virgil M. I have looked through the online Google version of this book.  Great job by Google, they typed it ... but wow, talk about a ton of typo's.  I recommend you use the real book to double check what you get from Google site.  I also located another site (do not have info in front of me), which photocopied each page, thus no typo's.  And almost every genealogy book seller out there, sells this book, and many people on ebay too.  Shop around for prices, I have seen them as low as $14.99 and listed as new, soft bound, and $39 for hard bound new, and as high as $150 for a new hard bound ... so shop around.
