Major General Sir Iven Mackay not only distinguished himself as an officer in the Australian Army in both The First and Second World Wars, but served as Australia's last High Commissioner to India and was a noted university lecturer and private school headmaster.  He was not only an ANZAC from the First World War but one of the small number of servicemen to be ANZACs during the Second; as general officer commanding 6th Division in the Greece-Crete campaign 1942.

I have the escape and evasion report for Brigadier C.H Clifton DSC and Bar MC NEZF 6 Bde?

It’s photos of the interrogation report. Happy to email to anyone interested.  I have others but not sure if any more ANZACs. These are from research I did about 20 years ago. I had lost a lot of stuff as I had a catastrophic computer crash but have some.

Also have some inter war Honours and Awards info, it may be restricted to Air Force though.

Regards,

Anno
