Example to query the searchPerson API?

From the documentation I am able fetch specific data on a person via commands similar to this:

curl --get "https://api.wikitree.com/api.php?format=json&action=getPerson&key=8479157";

But attempting to search persons in a similar manner as follows yields an internal error.

curl --get "https://api.wikitree.com/api.php?format=json&action=searchPerson&limit=10&Gender=Male&LastName=Smith";

Is there an example of a valid person search URL? Thanks

We did some updates to the API today and it looks like we introduced a bug. I'll let you know when it gets fixed.

This has been fixed, and the URL you were trying to use should work now.
Nice! Thanks for the quick fix.
