Biography

Naitō Yasuhiro was born in Yokohama on 8 April 1967. From a young age, he expressed interest in manga and began drawing. After he graduated from university, he became a full time manga artist three years later, using Nightow as the romanisation of his family name. Yasuhiro was known for creating the manga series Trigun from 1995 to 1997 and then Trigun Maximum from 1997 to 2007. Both were adopted into an anime series and a film.

In 2002, Yasuhiro designed the characters for the PlayStation 2 video game Gungrave. From 2009 as of 24 June 2019, he worked on the manga series Blood Blockade Battlefront, which has also been adopted into anime.
